All,
I know many, including us at the Student Wellness Center, are anxiously / eagerly awaiting Tuesday’s test results. Unfortunately, there has been a delay in the results coming back compared to recent turnaround time for this particular lab. We received a notice from the lab mid afternoon stating that the issue causing the delay has been resolved, and they are trying to catch up as quickly as possible.
We will continue to look for the results into the evening. However, should you receive your results between now and tomorrow morning, and your result is positive, please stay in your room. You may leave to use the bathroom, but make sure that you are wearing a mask the entire time you are out of your room, wipe down surfaces after use and immediately return to your room.
At this point with the degree of viral spread both locally and nationally, I would recommend that everyone acts as if anyone around them is positive.
Someone from the Student Wellness Center will contact you by tomorrow morning at the latest.
