The world of pop culture practically exploded when Taylor Swift first attended a Kansas City Chiefs football game, and had people speculating all kinds of things about her relationship with the Chiefs’ tight end, Travis Kelce.

Little did we know, there’d be even more to talk about a week later.

Since that game, plenty of people–including Kelce himself–have had things to say about the whole situation.

However, any ideas that this appearance was a one-off event were quickly squandered the following Sunday, when Swift showed up at the Chiefs’ next game at the MetLife Stadium. She was once again decked out in Chiefs gear, but this time she didn’t come alone.

She arrived at the stadium with an entourage of celebrities, including Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Sabrina Carpenter, Hugh Jackman, and Sophie Turner. Swift’s brother, Austin Swift, was also in attendance.

Most of the people who accompanied her to the game were unsurprising, having been longtime friends of Swift. It is worth it to note that Turner’s appearance with Swift was one of multiple since her divorce with singer Joe Jonas, who once dated Swift.

It’s also important to mention that this outing encouraged another onslaught of rumors, this time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) fandom.

Jackman and Reynolds are both starring in Deadpool 3, which releases on May 3, 2024. Along with them, the director of Deadpool 3, Shawn Levy, appeared with Swift at the Chiefs game.

While many MCU fans have speculated before that Swift will be featured in the upcoming movie, this was the closest to confirmation they have gotten thus far. It’s rumored that Swift may play the part of Dazzler, a character that can manipulate sound and turn it into light. Fans have wanted her to play the role for a while now, but who knows when–or if–we will know for sure whether or not their dreams have come true.

Since that Chiefs game, there was another one that Swift did not attend. While this might have shocked some people, it’s an understandable decision.

The media, including broadcasters of football games and the National Football League (NFL) itself, have been talking about Swift and Kelce nonstop since her first appearance.

Swift did attend the next game this past Thursday, the day after her premiere of “The Eras Tour” film in Los Angeles. This time, she was watching with Kelce’s mom, Donna Kelce, like she did at the first game she attended.

The Chiefs won again, making them 3-0 with Swift in the crowd.

Two days later, they were seen together again. After both of them made quick surprise appearances on Saturday Night Live, they walked out holding hands and headed to an afterparty together.

Neither Swift nor Kelce have commented on the nature of their relationship, but these appearances add fuel to the gossip fire that is the internet.
