Is your best friend single this Valentine’s Day? Here is how you show the truest of love:
- Don’t get them any sort of gift.
It’s super important that your single friend doesn’t get any gifts this Valentine’s Day. Your focus should be on your partner, not on your friend. Additionally, you don’t want your friend to feel like it’s ok to be single. Don’t let them get comfortable relying on you for their love.
- Show off all the love your partner has shown!
Your friend needs to see what they are missing out on. You may believe you should shelter your friend and protect them from feeling lonely, but this holiday is for couples and couples only. Your friend must see how lonely and single they are.
- Utilize your ability to show PDA!
People love PDA, especially your single friends. Go ahead, hold hands, kiss, have intercourse! Show off what you have and your friend doesn’t.
- Ask your friend for the gifts they gave you.
Hold your friend to a high expectation. You are taken, so they should be celebrating you. If they didn’t get you anything, drop them! Valentine’s Day is like a birthday for couples. It’s your day, not theirs.
- Record everything.
You’re going to want to remember this and so will your friend. At their wedding one day, you’re going to want to show your friend where they came from. Make sure they remember who was there for them when they were single.
- Remember to show love.
Your friend is probably struggling. In fact, the only commitment they have is to their bed. The only sex they may have is with themselves. Make sure they know they aren’t alone!

@Ben5849 5 Minutes Ago: Does this apply for men?
Miss Guidance: Hello Ben, absolutely! Miss Guidance does not discriminate! In fact, I’m practically a man.
@Cole94759 4 minutes ago: What if you are the single friend?
MissGuidance: Figure it out, Cole.
@avaiscool_ 4 minutes ago: Should I try to set up my single friend?
MissGuidance: No, Ava, today is about you and you only. Do not put your time and energy into those who are less than you. Thank you for your question!
@anonymous 3 minutes ago: What about Galentines/Brothentines?
MissGuidance: Hello, anonymous, those celebrations are a mockery of the holiday and should be avoided at all costs. The only reason you should celebrate Valentine’s Day with someone of a similar gender is if they are your significant other. Once again, I do not discriminate. Hope this helps!
